Bathrooms (Section 701)
Zones 0, 1 and 2 with IP and equipment restrictions.
Zones
Zone 0: inside bath/shower tray — IPX7, SELV ≤ 12 V AC. Zone 1: above to 2.25 m — IPX4. Zone 2: 0.6 m beyond zone 1 — IPX4. Socket-outlets (except shaver units to BS EN 61558-2-5) must be ≥ 2.5 m from the zone 1 boundary.
RCD
All low voltage circuits of the location must have 30 mA RCD protection (701.411.3.3).
