Zones

Horizontally or vertically within 150 mm of the top of a wall or wall-to-wall angle, or in line with an accessory. Cables in walls at depth < 50 mm outside these zones need protection; in all cases, unprotected concealed cables need 30 mA RCD protection (522.6.202/203).
